An 18-wheeler overturned on US 421 blocking one lane of traffic and injuring the driver of the truck.

Crews arrived at the scene to remove the truck from a ditch next to the road. Removing the truck closed both lanes of the road and backed up traffic.

News on the driver’s condition was not released but he was transported to the hospital after the accident. Details of the accident are currently being investigated.
