William K. Goldfarb

Mr. Goldfarb was born in Charlotte, North Carolina, on April 25, 1964. He attended North Carolina State University on a gymnastics scholarship. He attended Campbell University Law School and graduated in 1991. While at Campbell, he was the recipient of the American Juris Prudence Book Award in Torts, was the Chief Justice of the Honor Court and was on the Honor Court Review Board.
Mr. Goldfarb began practicing in 1991 and opened his own firm on March 18, 1996. He is licensed to practice in all state Courts in North Carolina and also the Middle and Western Federal District Courts of North Carolina.
He was a founding member and past President of the Mecklenburg Trial Lawyers Association. He is a member of the Mecklenburg and Union County Bars, American Advocates for Justice and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice. He has been featured in North Carolina Lawyers Weekly, Volume 15, No. 25, in the September 9, 2002 edition and Volume 18, No. 3, in the April 4, 2005 edition. Mr. Goldfarb has helped shape personal injury law in North Carolina through the North Carolina Court of Appeals decisions in Lora Robinson & Christy Robinson v. Tamela Shue, No.: COA-00-1059 (Union County Docket No.: 98-CVD-00218), and Miller v. B.H.B. Enterprises, Inc., d/b/a/ Vinnie’s Sardine Grille and Raw Bar, No.: COA-01-1282 (Mecklenburg County Docket No.:99-CVS-5469). William has also been a guest speaker and keynote lecturer for several continuing legal education seminars in North Carolina throughout the years.
Mr. Goldfarb co-chairs one of the most popular continuing legal education seminars put on by the North Carolina Advocates for Justice called “Jury Selection.” William has spent significant time giving seminars and speaking and has been given the “Order of Service” from the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.
Outside of the practice of law William enjoys automobile racing, physical fitness, and spending time with his family. He is married to Jill, and they have two children, a son, Mitch, who was born in 1999 and a daughter, Sara who was born in 2001.
Mr. Goldfarb has restricted his practice to helping people who have been injured by the negligence of others with areas of practice including personal injury, worker’s compensation, and professional negligence.
