A Winston-Salem woman is facing charges of felony death by vehicle following a one-car DWI accident that killed three people.
Police officials say Amanda Sperduti will face three charges of felony death by vehicle in connection with an accident that occurred on February 13 in Browns Summit. Sperduti was reportedly driving twice the posted speed limit of 45 mph at the time of the crash. She lost control of her vehicle and struck a tree.
The three passengers in the vehicle with Sperduit were killed in the wreck. 23 year-old Scott Bedwell, 18 year-old Taylor McCaskill, and 18 year-old Sascha Hoffmann were all pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.
In addition to the felonies, Sperduti is also charged with one count misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia, and one count of misdemeanor exceeding a safe speed. She is being held in lieu of a $100,000 bond.
