A teenage boy was killed in a single-vehicle crash Wednesday in North Carolina.
According to officials with the North Carolina Highway Patrol, 15 year-old Dustin Craig Stillwell was a passenger in a friend’s Honda which crashed near the intersection of Boggs Dairy Road and Lake Road. Stillwell was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers would not give details pertaining to the cause of the accident and did not identify the driver of the vehicle. Stillwell’s sister, Selena Gunter, said her brother was with a friend who did not yet have his driver’s license.
“They were just being teens and snuck around.” Gunter said.
